Colorful Handover Ceremony as Sarah Nakalungi Bids Farewell to Nakaseke District

A spirit of gratitude, celebration and renewed hope filled the air at Nakaseke District headquarters in Butalangu as leaders, civil servants and members of the community gathered for the colorful handover ceremony of the outgoing Chief Administrative Officer, Sarah Nakalungi, to the incoming CAO, Agrry.
The vibrant function was marked by heartfelt speeches, entertainment and appreciation for the tremendous service rendered by Sarah Nakalungi during her tenure in Nakaseke District before her transfer to Hoima District. Leaders praised her for her dedication, professionalism and commitment towards improving service delivery, strengthening administration and promoting development across the district.
Speaking during the ceremony, district leaders described Nakalungi as a hardworking and visionary administrator whose leadership helped steer the district through various development programs and government initiatives. They applauded her for fostering unity among staff and ensuring smooth coordination of district activities.
In her farewell remarks, Sarah Nakalungi expressed gratitude to the political leaders, technical staff and the people of Nakaseke for the cooperation and support accorded to her throughout her service. She called upon district staff to extend the same support to the incoming Chief Administrative Officer in order to maintain effective service delivery.
“I leave Nakaseke with wonderful memories and pride in the achievements we registered together. I thank everyone for the teamwork and friendship that made my work easier,” Nakalungi noted emotionally.
Nakalungi, who has officially been transferred to Hoima District, promised to continue serving diligently in her new assignment while carrying along the fond memories of Nakaseke District.
The incoming Chief Administrative Officer, Agrry, pledged to build on the foundation laid by his predecessor and work tirelessly to ensure continued growth and transformation of Nakaseke District. He emphasized teamwork, transparency and accountability as key pillars of his administration.
The colorful event attracted district councillors, heads of departments, civil servants, local leaders and other invited guests who hailed the smooth transition as a sign of maturity and professionalism within the district leadership.
The ceremony ended in excitement as guests shared meals, entertainment and photo moments in honor of both the outgoing and incoming Chief Administrative Officers.
